Tickets for the ever-popular annual Korean Music Festival, aka The Korea Times Music Festival, just went on sale, if anyone in the area is interested, or if out-of-towners want to travel there (like I am ^^ ).  It's at the legendary Hollywood Bowl, a really cool outdoor venue in suburban Los Angeles, California.  Date is Saturday, May 1st.

While they still haven't announced the lineup, they typically have 10-15 acts (singers/bands) that will play over the course of many hours.  The acts range from VERY popular K-Pop stars (think Pump) to trot singers for the oldsters in the crowd (can the jokes, asses, lol), as this is a big family-oriented event in the Korean community there every year.  Last year's performers included Girls Generation, Son Ho Young (ex-G.O.D), Kim Tae Woo (also ex-G.O.D), SS501, SHINee, Baek Ji Young, etc.   Past years have had BoA, Brian and Hwanhee (Fly to the Sky), Dong Bang Shin Gi (TVXQ),
Super Junior, Shinhwa, Epik High, Big Bang, and so many other stars.

Pre-concert activities begin mid-afternoon, with the concert beginning at 6:30 PM until late, so it's an all-day kind of event under the sky and stars, in beautiful California.

I just bought my tickets (I chose the $70 level).  All the expensive tickets are gone, but there are still plenty of tickets left from the rear to about 2/3 of the way to the stage.  Some people might be wary of ordering tickets without even knowing who's gonna be there, but if you love K-Pop in general, I don't think you'd be disappointed when they start announcing the acts.  They do a great job at choosing the big names, judging by past years.  And the tickets usually sell out, so I certainly wasn't going to wait around until they announce the lineup.   :)

This is a rare chance to see a BIG Korean concert here in the U.S.  So, some of you should consider it, if you're able to go!   :)
