A friend of mine has a PIU machine with MK9 & MK3 and some HDDs, everything works fine, except NXA.

The boot screen appear, the progress bar goes to 100% and that's it.

So, any idea of what's wrong?

* Btw, he's using a nxa v1.10 (2009.1.12).

Can you be more specific on the MK9 that you have?  Andamiro has had multiple MK9 revisions with different motherboard manufacturers used.  That greatly impacts which mixes may or may not function on the board set.  Is it a Gigabyte Motherboard or a ASRock Motherboard or is it a homemade MK9 of sorts.  What about the video card installed in the MK9?  The reason why all of this matters is that the games are designed to use very specific audio and video drivers for the games.  Whichever drivers are on the original HDD itself is what the game is capable of using.  If the drivers for X are not there then it will not boot.

Hey dudes, it's Cesar on Alaka's accoun here. The machine in question is mine. I'll take pictures of the harddrive and post my MK9's config tomorrow. I'm trying to get new mixes to play but it seems that this MK9 will only run Fiesta series. It sucks. How much is a MK6 board nowadays?

Thanks a lot.

Hey!
I'm having the same problem here, did you solve it?
I'm using the same version of NXA and MK9 seems to be type B.

More than likely its the hardware. I have the same issues when trying to run NX2 on my MK9, while on my MK6v1 it runs fine.
