Hey everybody! I'm so happy you guys are still here! Do any of you remember Pump Xtreme or me from years ago?

The most bizarre thing just happened. I was randomly reminiscing about the old pumpxtreme.net site and out of the blue typed it into my browser and POOF! the site is THERE - back at its original domain name and exactly the way it looked in 2003. It's so trippy! I don't know how it got there, I haven't had access to the domain name since then and my hosting account was deleted two years ago. It's broken as hell and the forum is gone, like a tattered old zombie website.  But some of the old pictures are still there and a video of me playing!  It's just fun to see the old thing because it brings back so many fond memories.

Anyway I just thought I'd stop by and say this just in case anyone else wants to see it while it's there. Who knows how long it will be.

Those of you old timers let me know how you're doing! :D

Peace & Love,
BriBoy

I have no idea how PX is still preserved. I remember it being completely inaccessible and finished the last time I checked on it... ten years ago?!

...Tecnou? Kept it contact with him?

That's mostly the reason why I still pay to keep this place up, archival purposes. In the age of Facebook, Internet forums in general are mostly ghost towns, but nostalgia runs strong. We're still up for the stubborn people who don't want to quit, such as myself. Hit me up on FB, if you have it. My name is Igor Alba. The PIU community is still going QUITE strong, especially with a current PIU game with regular monthly updates of new content. It's just not seen on internet forums anymore, unfortunately.

We haven't quit, buddy. Hell, I haven't. Here's my living room a couple weeks ago:

Wow, hi, BriBoy, haha.  A few of the vets are still here, but yeah, even with the many that have "retired," there are plenty more newcomers to take their places.  It's just that most online activity has migrated over to various Facebook pages, as Igor said.  WPF 2016 (the world championship tournament) is coming up in July in Bali, Indonesia.  :D

Oh my gosh, it's so awesome to see you again!  I'm still happily playing PIU, and we even just got an update for freestyle charts, haha.  When I see that site again, it brings me so many fond memories of the older days of PIU.

How could I not remember you Briboy? :D

I'm still playing. And I'm still not that good. :P

Current piano projects: None atm.

Some of my performances: Feux D'artifice, by Claude Debussy, La Cathedrale Engloutie, by Debussy, Nocturne in B Major, Op. 62 no. 1, by Frederic Chopin, Ballade no. 1 in G Minor, by Chopin, Amberley Wild Brooks, by John Ireland, Prelude in D Minor, Op. 28 No. 24, by Chopin

Show me a person who describes anything as "overrated", and I'll show you a person who's run out of good ideas.
