Posted by: Turkeyslam on 04:22 CST :: 8/14/2012

I've unlocked and opened up our old O2Jam directory from back in the day when I had my O2Jam server. I will never run it again, but I decided that now since O2Jam has ZERO legal servers left in the world, I'd make the server files I used publicly available. I created a redirect through PIU Generall for people who may miss this thread.

Feel free to go back and peruse through the /o2jam directory (most of it is COMPLETELY worthless), but these are the files you actually need:

1) Install O2Jam with this:

< http://ph-online.net/o2jam/collection/O2Jam_Installer.exe >

2) Download O2SX, the server file. I believe this is the first time this file has leaked to the public. I'm only leaking it because of the fact that legal O2Jam no longer exists. All credit goes to vittee, the original creator of this program. Make sure to create a username for yourself with a password and configure your avatar as you please. You will need to add additional users if you want friends to connect to your server and play against you. Turn this program off when updating your OJNlist on a later step.

< http://ph-online.net/o2jam/collection/O2SX.exe >

3) Download the O2LX file to connect to your actual server. Use this to enter the game instead of any of eGame's files. Make sure it points to 127.0.0.1, localhost, or whatever server name you want to set up. If you configure it right through your firewall, other friends can connect to you and play against you. You can also play "offline" by yourself by connecting to your own server locally.

4) Go to c:\pg\egames\o2jam\image and swap the OJNList.dat file with the following one. It will enable all 675 songs available in the final version of the O2Jam server years ago when it was online. This includes all of the PH-exclusive content!

< http://ph-online.net/o2jam/collection/o2/patch/OJNList.dat >

5) Start downloading songs. Use a batch downloader program of some sort if needed. If I know you PERSONALLY, or your name shows as blue, red, green, or yellow in the user list in the forums, then feel free to contact me for an FTP login.

Make sure that ALL OJM and OJN game files in your game match the EXACT files that come from this file list. Otherwise, there will be errors and things will crash.

I believe this collection of screenshots shows the complete list of songs: < http://ph-online.net/o2jam/songs.html >

I am providing all of this AS IS. No tech support here, kids. Good luck and have fun.

Is there any chance for us to get the new songs like:

Or the ones showed here:

Or how can I update my o2Jam to have new songs? Thanks.

It would involve generating a new OJNlist with the files you have in your music folder. 675 is the maximum; anything higher crashes the game. So you'd need to remove songs to add new ones.

Use this program to generate a new .dat file. Make sure to have O2SX closed while you mess with this.

Thank you very much for the answer and two last questions, how can I create songs and how can I de-encrypt the songs to get them to mp3 format as you did with the Keyboard challenge? I want some songs but when I play them with the O2Jam Player they are saturated and have a poor quality.

Hi Turkeyslam, is there a way to have a skill ring here? There's no option of skill rings on O2SX. You can only modify the avatar.

Thank you.

We were never able to make it work, unfortunately.

Ok, this is a little bit late but how do I use the OJNList changer again? I had it before but now nothing seems to work...

Actually, as far as I remember, we used to play with rings.

If I'm not delusional (which could easily be the case), these are the IDs for the skill rings:
Code Sample
Item1=601
Item1.QTY=999
Item2=603
Item2.QTY=999
Item3=605
Item3.QTY=999
Item4=607
Item4.QTY=999
Item5=609
Item5.QTY=999
Item6=611
Item6.QTY=999

How the hell have I come across this thread in 2016?

Because we haven't gone anywhere and O2Jam is still fun!

That's oddly relieving to know this still works, haha. I might have to jump in soon. I miss the O2J OST badly.
