Hi everyone, I know this may be irrelevant at this point but I just acquired a fiesta 2010 HDD and tried to run it on an mk9, but I have no audio, video is great in HDMI but I got no sound at all.

I tried it with MK6 and runs just fine, video (vga) and audio works good.

I have prime running with the mk9 and audio works fine.

The MK9 MoBo is GYIGABYTE GA-G41M-Combo

I don't know if there is some problem with the audio chipset, I don't know much about this but I've heard that it might be something like that.

Thank you for your time!!

Pretty sure HDMI support didnt exist until prime, which would explain your lack of audio.

Hell. Im pretty sure MK9 didnt even exist when Fiesta2010 was released. fiesta DOES run on the MK9, but I have never tried HDMI with it due to the potential of lag from processing the video feed vs analog instant input.

Have you tried switching the audio connector? >>

I wonder:  Does your screen have speakers?  Because if it's a replacement screen that's just a TV or computer monitor, there's always a chance it's defaulting to using the HDMI cable to transmit audio.  If it's a screen you can make adjustments on, you might be able to just deactivate the speakers, since most newer TVs have that in their settings.   Just a thought.

Im pretty sure MK9 didnt even exist when Fiesta2010 was released.

MK9 v1s were already out starting with NX2.

It sounds like your chipset is a v3 MK9 which wouldn't be compatible with Fiesta and back, you'd need a v1 or v2 set but I unfortunately don't know the exact sets they use.

yes , mk9 V3 comes with a gt210 video card ( wich has hdmi )

you can try using the internal audio pins, if you are lucky the game has the driver but is using a different output from usual

I tried the speakers and didn't work, but I'm assuming it's the chipset, but meh, doesn't matter. Thx to all.!!!
