Dropping on August 27, the demo loop teaser has dropped, confirming the following songs for this final update to the game:

Notes
-With this update, every song revealed in the opening will finally have been released as Clematis Rapsodia and Destrucimate were both teased in said opening.
-Destrucimate is the arcade visualizer debut for CattoHato, reusing character designs from a BGA done for the fan project NX Indonesia, the song there being D_AAN's Apophis.
-Baroque Virus also had a full version in Pump it Up Infinity, though it has an entirely new titlecard here, so chances are good that it will not retain any charts from that game.
-The new remix was available prior for Pump it Up M as a login bonus, though it was earmarked as an XX preview.
-Speaking of earmarked songs, it appears that despite M listing the third contest songs as for XX, they're not coming in this game...

So, apparently Andamiro is putting money into this? Lucy's Jogging just dropped this morning, and today the trailer dropped and revealed that it's coming to this update as well! That means no update has lacked a new K-Pop song, it's crazy.

Unfortunately, they also confirmed that this will be the last update, and...apparently they're not dropping the contest songs unless they'll be UCS-only this mix or something?

This confirms contest songs actually being for next mix as initially stated. They were labeled as XX because that's the current mix, and they probably don't even have a name for the next one as of this writing (or just cannot reveal it for obvious reasons).

And yes, they seem to be going all out for K-Pop given they found a way to include at least one, at the last minute! (This may suggest their licensing model has changed, too. They seek to license at the very moment of patch release instead of a full batch unless it's the initial release, which is good so they update the song list with actual new songs!)

The thing is that in M, the contest songs have the IDs of 16A5-16B4, right after Contest 2’s offerings and in XX’s domain. The question then is if they’ll be added to the next mix with those IDs (e.g. Kitty Cat) or if they’ll get new IDs entirely in the arcade (e.g. Step, which had a 14XX ID for Prime but got a new 15XX ID for its actual release in Prime 2).

Of course there are two other possibilities, neither of which I can really see happening but worth bringing up anyway:

-Some sort of surprise/encore/next mix preview patch in October like Fiesta EX did with 1.50.
-The “new UCS Songs” turn out to include the contest songs, again like Fiesta EX 1.50.
