I'd like to get more exposure to K-Pop than just Pump songs, but I'm not quite sure how. Those of you who are really into it, do you just find stuff on YouTube? Forums? Internet radio? Something else? I'd like some pointers, please.

YouTube is where I started.  Listening to the music outside of pump that the artists have performed.  The first group I looked up was Sechskies.

Its hard to talk about Kpop without promoting things.
I mean, I usually check k2nblog website for newest Kpop MVs. They don't list all, but the collection is usually up to my standard of good songs.

There are some good artists & groups never been listed on PIU, especially very popular ones like Girls' Generation, Rain, f(x), U-Kiss, After School, or Sistar to name a few. Kara, Super Junior, BoA, and Wonder Girls is also popular like crazy, but we have their songs on PIU. New artists & groups making debut almost every month. Some of them would successful overnight like IU, Twice, or Psy (he was already famous in Korea, but Gangnam Style was legendary and made him world famous), and some of them would fail so bad they disband in just some weeks time.

I'm also a fan of Running Man variety show, where (accidentally) Kim Joong Kook of Turbo (Black Cat from 1st Dance Floor) and later a solo singer (Lovely in NX) is one of the main casts. Eun Ji Won (was member of Seschkies and now a solo & member of Clover) is quite popular in variety shows. Other variety or talk shows sometimes invite Kpop singers, especially if they are making a comeback. For Korean TV shows, I recommend kshowonline where all the videos has English subtitle.

For now, I think it would be best if you look for old artists like Turbo & Jinusean who recently made a comeback after 10+ years. Park Jin Young, Mighty Mouth, and BoA release a single once in a while and worth checking out.
As for the variety show, you can start with Infinity Challenge episode 410 & 411 (90's Special), where they gather famous 90's artists in one stage. All of the artists was featured in PIU at least once. This episode was legendary: great performance, tear-jerking guests' chemistry, and the fans' reactions are not to be missed. And at the start of the show, 'guest appearance' of 2 PIU machines running PIU Extra (with Perfect Collection banner) and another one with Exceed 2 banner, is a plus for me.

Sorry for the rant :whoa:

Edit: I know it is quite different from what you asked, but that is how I get to know many Kpop artists; by watching Korean TV shows.

Your post was definitely informative, andrie, if not helpful for me personally (since I have no access to Korean TV). Thanks!

If you have Sirius XM satellite radio, turn it to Korea Today channel 144. Most of the stuff is within the last year, so the songs that were new as of the previous post would still be heard on that station.
