As a Supporter, I've tried promoting Pump at anime conventions.

If Pump should catch wind, I'm sure Pump rooms like I've run could catch on in certain con states.  So Pump players/anime fans, look for your nearest convention, and do you part if possible.

There's always the possibility that a CONVENTION would host a concert.  Again, only a possibility.

Being a con vet, while having Banya appear would be awesome, I think the large majority would have one of the Bemani artist make an apperance. I try to get PIU out there but the overwhelming majority at cons play DDR or have a Stepmania setup. If you want to push more, go find the person who's responsible for gaming at particular cons and offer to send PIU Home version for free in exchange for 3 day setup. All it takes is conviencing a half-dozen people that PIU is worth buying and AM/Mastoff has recouped its investment.

I keep telling Roxor that they should invade cons to go after the hardcore players to help spread word of mouth. Its the hardcore who tell their friends who get the word around.

As I may have said, I worked at a con, for two years.  The second year was my first formal setting, but its otherwise clear that next year will be even bigger, mostly because many people here in Minnesota are either wanting more Pump, to satiate their lack of recent Bemani mixes, or just for the love of the game.

A revolution may be on the verge..

Well, in my opinion. Not to burst anyones bubble but I sincerely doubt that Yahpp will make a tour of the United States. For 1 main reason. I believe it would flop. Not enough people know about Pump and even if they do more then likely half of them do not even play or would go to a concert especially. I would definitely participate in a concert if it happened to go down, but from the looks of things here in the U.S. I really doubt it.

I'm pretty sure this was a joke of his, but on the other hand, I'd believe him.

When I asked if he'd be interested in doing a concert or tour of the US with the Banya crew, he told me something like this...

"If the US ends up having at least 10,000 arcade units, we'll come for FREE"

From what I know, we're not even close to 1,000.  But on the other hand, that IS a lot of money (10,000 units), so I'd believe him, it'd be a challenge to sell that many.

My friend this is a lie...
for example here in Argentina there are a less of 17 machines and yahpp came here to play a concert!!! who tell you something that!!!! 10.000 machines for a free concert?!!!! no way, imposible

Or much money could be saved and all the hardcore Pump players could travel to Korea to see a concert...
