At some arcades in which I've played PIU there is sometimes some background music playing. I mean, it's alright, since the place gets some ambience but it's frustrating, annoying and irritating when the bg music is louder than PIU's machine.

If I can't hear the songs in the game, then playing it is useless. And when I asked if they could lower the volume, they ignored me. ¬¬ I think arcade owners should have a little consideration to those who play dance and music games in general...

Has something similar happened to you?  :brood:

Yes.
I stopped patronizing those places and boycotted the arcade locations.

It solves yours, and their problems, sort of.
Around here, dance machines earn a huge amount of profit, monthly.

To have the entire scene just disappear from a location is, like, a kick to the groin for them.

I don't know how you're gonna' convince every Pumper to not go there,
But it works around here, lol.

Or just go straight to the head.
They should be very worried about Customer Satisfaction. xD

I wanna kick his ass. I wanna have a son, so I can raise him to kick this guy's ass. Correction: I wanna have a daughter, so I can raise her to kick this guy's ass.

Lets Go Jungle is a pain in the ass. Especially when someone's playing it. It's real close to the machine. So is House of the Dead 4. And now... Guitar Hero. Not to mention there's a store speaker RIGHT ABOVE the pump machine. But at times when it gets quiet, the pump machine is nice and loud.

I agree. D&B is notorious for playing random popular music all the time pretty loud. The only time they don't play music is when they announce that some party's table is ready.

the PA system broke about 7 months ago, and they never bothered to fix it, thank god. I couldn't hear ANYTHING when it was being used.

I play next to a Pro machine with louder speakers.

Enough said.

Six? Really?

The place in Seattle has an air hockey that makes a laser sound when the puck hits the side, and a Hammer 2 machine (thanks andamiro) that are both louder than the PIU machine, the only one that actually needs sound to be played.
