Quote (ohnoitschris @ 23:23 CST :: 12/13/2013) | Wait, was that a dedicab or an upgraded older cabinet?
I know this is an old thread but just for the sake of future Googlers, we've got a Supernova 2 dedicab here in Louisville that's been nothing but trouble. Left pad only worked well for the first few months it was in service, and it was bought new back in '08. There's been so much work done to the pads to try and keep them playable, but they've been having problems left and right this entire time. I wouldn't even buy a low-priced SN2 dedicab, I'd rather just get an Extreme or older so I know I'd be getting a quality machine. |
It was an upgraded, Looked like it had the old 4th mix bodystyle / marquee style.
Though in all honesty, The sensors in the pads could easily be replaced. I actually just bought a pair of DDR pads last night for $150 if you are looking for some, One I have stripped and have started converting it to be functional with a PS2 / PS3. but the other is still arcade cabinet ready.
I am still debating if I want to sell or not though.. Hm. I suppose if the right offer came up.
There is the stripped one in front of the untouched one. They clearly have been repainted around the base... When summer comes around I was planning to repaint the frames and clean them up more. But for now im just working on rewiring them.
